This activity can be personal (learning more about the individuals likes and dislikes), community (what the class has in common of what they do in their free time) and cultural (for example when a student lands on favorite holiday as teachers we can figure out the diffrernt beliefs we will have in our classrooms). </div>]]></description>

Students will close their eyes, so they do not get embarrassed if they do not understand and others do. Each student will hold up a number depending on their understanding of the topic (five fingers being they get it snd can explain, going down to one finger being they do not understand at all). This gives teachers a fast way to know if their students are understanding. </div>]]></description>
