Decide what you want..
- from my study:
From my study i want to learn how to become an International manager.
- from the broader experience of being in Higher Education:
acceptance. Before i started studying here, people didn't see me in the same level as they was and this was a big issue for me. Therefore i want to have acceptance and  equality.
-Think through.. how your studies contribute to your broader life plan and career ambitions:
Since, i want to be one of the most successful international manager of the world, this study can contribute my broader life plan with giving me the basics for a manager.
- how other opportunities at college or university can forward your ambitions:
the opportunity to get in touch with people from different regions of the world can help me to be more international. I can learn how people think about certain aspects in business and life and this can help me on my international way.
Make wise choices that work for you
- Choose.. the right degree subject
I chose International business and management studies and i believe this is the right choice for me, because this study course can help me to achieve my dream of becoming an international manager.
- the right use for your time in class and outside of class
I attended almost every class in this semester. Outside of class i was distracted very often because of private problems which i want to avoid in the second semester.

How and why is it different from previous levels of education?
It is different, because you don't have to study. It is your decision whether you want to educate yourself more or not.
What is expected of you?
It is expect of me to be independent. To manage everything i have to do for this study course and to grow by myself.
What do you need to know about the conventions and culture?
typical habits in this country, also how to act towards people in authority such as lecturers.
What is seen as important, and gets good marks, in your subject?
work hard and find the right balance between studying and leisure time.

--> no i don't do this, i have to work on this.
SMART METHOD
S--> what? I want to accomplish an optimum learning environment for myself.
M--> I will accomplish my goal by changing my entire environment and focusing of myself instead of others. Beginning with my room. 
A--> The goal is reasonable enough to accomplish, due to the fact that you can better concentrate with an optimum learning environment.
R--> Yes, this goal is worthwhile and will definitely meet my needs.
T--> by the end  of the first semester i want to have a better learning environment therewith i can focus myself on the second semester and will be more successful. 
Self-awareness and commitment:
I have a clear vision about what success as a student would mean to me.
knowledge:
there is a good match between my own knowledge and skills and the starting points on my course. (Since, i made an apprenticeship beforehand and attended an economic comprehensive school i have some knowledge already)

Since, I had some private problems during my first semester i couldn't focus much on study which affected my exam period. I was not concentrated enough for this study course although i understand the lessons and tasks. Therefore things didn't work well. I have to change this for my second semester, otherwise i cannot continue this study course which would be a horror scenario for myself.

Impossible for me. When my learning environment is not optimal i cannot study well, because then I'm to distracted to the things which are going worse. I have to change this, therewith I can focus on that what is important to me. Passing this year. Being happy with this study course. I'm working on a structure, making a week schedule for myself and it works.

Yes, I'm totally clear. With my study I can work wherever i want and almost what i want. Since, I want to become an international manager I know that this study will help me to achieve my dream. Working in an multicultural environment and have the possibility to help people.

I do. I know that a Bachelor degree will bring me into the next level. People would accept me more with a degree. I would get a job much easier than without a bachelor graduation, therefore I'm working hard for having my dream job.
