         <description><![CDATA[<div>The genre was created from roots in African musical traditions, African American work songs, spirituals, and folk music of white Americans.<br>Early blues verses used a single line repeated four times. <br>During World War II, blues changed from acoustic to electric blues. Later on blues appealed to white people.<strong><br></strong>Over the years, it has influenced many genres such as Jazz, R&amp;B and Rock and Roll.<br>In the 1960s, a new form of blues called blues rock developed, which combined blues styles with rock music.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Rhythm:</strong><br>Time Signature: Blues is commonly played in a 4/4 time signature. <br>The most common pattern used is the 12 bar blues.<br>In the beginning of the 20th century, the structure changed from a single line repeated four times to a line sung over the four first bars, its repetition over the next four, and then a longer concluding line over the last bars.<strong><br><br>Melody:<br></strong>Lyrics: The lyrics are full of emotion, singing about love and loneliness. They tell of injustice and hopelessness, and hoping for a better life.<br>Scales: The scale includes 6 different notes.<strong> </strong>They are the 5 notes of the minor pentatonic scale with one extra note.<strong> </strong><br><strong>Harmony:<br></strong>Chords: The basic<strong> </strong>harmony of the blues consists of three different chords which are the I Chord, the IV Chord and the V Chord.<br>Key: It can be played in any key. The most frequent keys are C, F, Bb, and G.<br><strong>Atmosphere:</strong> Slow, quiet and relaxing.</div>]]></description>
