Fortunately, we have met a new doctor and he saw that we were struggling. Then, he helped us by getting supplies of the medicine for free from pharmaceutical companies. He helped us to continue with the treatment at low cost.

Also, he didn't stop there; he kept checking on my child to make sure he was getting better. His kindness made a huge difference. It helped my baby's health and relieved our stress. This experience showed me how one person's kindness can change lives.

The most important people in my life are my parents, they always believed and helped me. My parents tell me stories when they were teenagers and walked with them in my vacaations when I was a child, They always said me "never give up". My mother prepared delicious food for me when I visited her on the other hand My father bought me fruits that like me. There were wonderful moments that lived with my parents. I love them.

When my parents died, I felt terrible, however, I remembered their advices, one of them that I keep in mind “Never give up, you are a strong woman”. Thus, I tried continue with my life day by day. It has not been easy, but I am here. On the other hand, I had to be empathetic with other people, it has not easy, but I am working in it. Another saying that I remember, If you want to live happy, you can see, hear and silence.  

They are very workers, honest, my mom is a happy person. I learned all that from them, and I taugh everything to my daughters too, I also feel proud of them, The oldest daughter is an engineer and my other daughter is a doctor. I have a good husband , a nice family. I like to meet with my brother and sisters in my house and share innolvidable moments.

We respect each other's opinions, we accept advice when it is necessary, when my friend feels bad I listen to her. I am

a good listener. Even though she lives far away, I call, or I send her a message too.

Besides, we have been in good and bad times.

Moreover, they were always talking about respect. They treated others appropiatly and were too strict with the family that we had to do exactly the same. They were also strict with other aspects such the time for eating, in which we had to be on time, and thank God.

Finally, the most important value they could show me was the importance of family, I had the opportunity to see my grandparents supporting their children and family. They used to have time for their family.

Since I started to notice the importance of things in life, I considered being more careful about myself.

When I started to work in laboratories I knew that I had a big responsibility, so I must have been the most careful related to the information I could obtain about the results. They were very important in the development of the production of shrimp’s larvas. I took samples of water from the ocean, air, environment, of animals (shrimp and shrimp’ larve), blower, into others. According to the results. Each department applied strategies to avoid pollution. In the case of animal-applied antibiotics.

Then a went to live in Orellana Province to work in a publoc school. That experience was harsh for me because I had to know new colleages, specically I have to kwnow the students, about their culture, custums, beliefs, ect. At the bigining was difficult, but day by day I was lesrning about that and after that I am fine and enjoy live and work here.

There are many things in which we feel proud, in my case I feel proud of myself for all the things I have been able to do despite the inconveniences I have gone through.

My greatest pride is my family, for whom I count on their support every day. It can be said that my children are examples of pride because they always excel in their studies and every achievement they obtain is thanks to their efforts. And educating them with values ​​so that they are responsible people fills me with great pride.

Another thing is that my work is full of pride and satisfaction and the achievement of each of my students comforts me.

HELLO EVERYONE

This is Marcela. I am indigenous woman, from Ecuador. We are Puruha ethnic group. Therefore, becoming in God as our vital part of our lives is great. Many years ago, my ancestors used to believe on Mother Earth, they used to think Earth was their god. Thanks God currently our trust has been changed. In fact, learn and practice all of the spiritual aspects are really relevant for our family. Through Bible we know about God  more and more every single day. Likewise, as bible teaches us the family is also the soul of our lives because of maintaining closer our relationship among us. Being a good relationship among us illustrates our testimony in front of the rest people. Helping each other while we are living on the earth is the prestigious.  Definitely, my son has become in the essential part of my live. Most of the time, I am pretending to teach values, support on his academic education, provide him about spiritual ways is the clue. Moreover, some spiritual leaders have been played a vital role to increase my spiritual knowledge. They are praying and supporting me any time.

WHAT TRADITIONS HAVE BEEN PASSED DOWN IN YOUR FAMILY?

FAMILY IS THE CENTER OF SOCIETY. FOR THIS REASON, I CONSIDER COMMUNICATION IMPORTANT, VALUES AND GOOD BEHAVIOR FAMILY SHOULD BE TRANSMITTED GENERATION BY GENERATION.

MOREOVER, I CONSIDER I HAVE A FAMILY WITH A LOT TRADITIONS.  I REMEMBER WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL ALWAYS MEETING IN MY GRANDMOTHER’S HOUSE.  WE CELEBRATED BIRTHDAY, CHRISTMAS, MOM’S DAY, DIFFERENT HOLIDAY.  I CONSIDER IT NICE WHEN WE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE WITH ALL THE MEMBERS VICTORIES OR LOSSES IT IS HERE WHERE SEE THE FAMILY AND EACH ONE CAN GIVE A HAND.

FURTHERMORE, WE CONTINUED WITH THE SAME TRADITION AFTER MY GRANDMA DIED AND OTHER MEMBERS.  I SAID “THE NEW GENERATION” CONTINUE JOING. FOR INSTANCE, AT THE CARNIVAL WE HAVE A BARBECUE AND PLAY WITH FLOUR AND CARIOCA IS GREAT.

IN CONCLUSION, IT’S BETTER STAY IN FAMILY.

Next year, when I end school. My parents decided to send me to another city to study in the college. This was the first occasion I broke his heart.  Then, our friendship was destroyed.

He was my best friend, but right now he lives in another country.

During my live I tried to get all the options to develop the best of mine, the most important step in my life was been to become an English teacher.

I would be remembered as a the lovely and tender but not too much, woman who enjoy the English classes in EHI and at every school that I could had been teaching.

Most of the time people memember us like the the teacher but for me I would like to be the serious some times and the special English teacher.

It was my mother because she always has been my motor to continue fighting against the disadvantages in my life. Every moment she used to encourage me to follow my dreams and do not forget that nothing is difficult in the daily routine. My mother have been a person who likes to get all positive thing, so she has had that ideas in our mind as her children, as a consequence we are huge as professional citizens.

Can you describe the moment when you saw your child for the first time?

Well, before to see for first time my child I have to found out that I have be a parent and it make me feel worry, I was scared because I was not happening good moment with my wife, I f I have guessed the future, I would have change my tough situation with my wife, also I didn´t have a good job to help my child, however the moment came and I saw my child for first time and it was wonderful I can´t describe the feeling that I was feel, only I can say that it was the greatest happiness that I have ever had, I feel the true love he was my little son a copy for me, also I have to mention that I was so proud because the mother of my son could with this pressure she was a first timer and the birth was normal, she was the strongest women in this moment.

My vhildhood was filed with happy moments playing with my siblings in our backyrad.. A difficult moment was when, at the age of 12, I went to school, during my teenege I attended a technical highschool where I had opportunity to lear secretaried in Spanish.

After that I went to at university where I prepared as a techer.

Not evrything has been easy and stress of work has tagh me importance of balancing and personal proffesional life.

Courrently, I am focused on continuing to grow proffeionaly, and I dream of one day travel around the world.

My life has had important people, and one of them is my mom. She is my biggest motivation to do everything I don´t know what I would do without her. 

As a child I remember that my mom supported me every time. She taught anything is impossible when you do that with love. She was my first teacher to discover what the world showed us.

On the other hand, I could have learned many things from people near me. However, my mom had already taught them to me, and for that and many other reasons, I love her so much. 

Nevertheless, my entire family is the complement to make me happy in each part of my life.
