She is very strong minded and she isn't scared of new problems or situations. Instead of focusing on the problem, she looks for a solution.

She always has new ideas, for examples she usually experiments new recipes but they get burned in the oven, but she learns from her errors and now she watches recipes on Youtube.

Everyday she goes out of her comfort zone.

According to the Cambridge Dictionary (GLOBAL English-Spanish Learner's Dictionary © 2020), stereotype is "a set idea that people have about what someone or something is like, especially an idea that is wrong

Stereotyping affects people, because you bealive bad things of a certain group that probably aren't even true."

For example:

Racial/Cultural/Gender/Sexuality/Politic stereotypes

Ex: It's not fair to stereotype a whole group of people based on one person you don't like.

Specific example:

Many years ago, I was with my dad and he saw a gothic guy wearing a lot of chains and dressed all black, then he said, "He crearly looks like an homosexual, he looks like a dog with that chains" he said this out loud, obviously with bad intentions.

So, people who dress with black clothes and wears julery are homosexual? Not neccesary

So, people who are part of the LGBTQ+ doesn't deserve respect? No, they deserve the same respect as every human being.

Bias: The definition of bias according the Cambridge University (© Cambridge University Press & Assessment 2025) bias is "The action of supporting or opposing a particular person or thing in an unfair way, because of allowing personal opinions to influence your judgment"

Basically, is judging before even knowing what is going on.

A famous example that I have listened more than once in my life is the one that says that woman doesn't know how to drive. Even I have listened this from female friends and family. But clearly this is fake, people say this because they bealive that woman can't control their emotions, they are sensitive and because since we are children boys play with cars and girls plays with dolls. And most important fact, gender has nothing to do with the way you drive.

Learning about bias, growth mindset, and stereotypes helped us understand how our way of thinking makes us see others and ourselves. While bias and stereotypes can lead to unfair assumptions, the growth mindset encourages us to believe that people can learn and change over time.

This made us reflect on the importance of staying open-minded and avoiding unfair judgment. Also, as future teachers, we need to recognize our own biases and support a classroom environment where every student has the opportunity to grow, feel respected, and reach their potential.

The belief on stereotypes and biases affects in our society, people are becoming afraid of showing who they really are. That is we have to stop bealiving in stereotypes an biases, they only apport bad things in our life, like hurting others and even to ourselves.
