Although racism is a common belief that do create different points of views in majority of aspects in life, it may result in people harming each other both mentally or physically. Thinking racist is a whole different thing of applying it. If a person in charge were to apply the racist beliefs in to a system either political or social, people in that community would be basically seperated and isolated from their common human rights. In simpler ways, an uncontrolled and abused racism may result in violence, slavery, violation of human rights, or even genocide.

Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Prejudice is a thing that may people do unconsciously on many parts of their lives. For example when getting to know people, many are prejudiced about the physical appearances. Just cause an individual wear unusual clothes, listens to unusual genres of music or etc. does not mean that they are the way we think when we first see their appearance. This is the number one problem of prejudice: being totally wrong to do in many cases.

Prejudice may first change a person's point of view about another person that is yet to be met if the prejudice is uncontrolled. This unconsciously made assumption may create an unnatural and diverse way of approaching the individual that is going to be met. And eventually, prejudice may harm the social relationships we are yet to make with another people. It may blind us from getting to know different characteristics and with them, different ways of thinking in life.

-Upbringing: Families have a significant role on their child's beliefs and opinions.Every time the parent or a family member misbehaves towards a person of different race, they are giving a message that racism is a good thing to do.
-Peer Pressure: Friends have a similar effect on a person as the family do.Mostly friends are the people whom we talk with and share ideas.Sometimes even we don't want to be exposed to their ideas about people from different races, we can get their ideas unintentionally.
-Personal Experiences: If someone from a certain race has assaulted or do something bad to you, you are likely to have a fear towards people of that race. It is normal and natural way for people in that way.
Stereotypes: Stereotyping is a common cause of racism. It is mostly expressed through media tools such as television, radio, internet, music and books.
