(Jolene) the thing that had the greatest impact with me was learning how to plan a month ahead or the month of what we would do at the daycare, menu planning, activity planning and more. Those were one of my favourite ones to plan and program for the kids at the daycare. There was a lot of thinking to it but it was all part of the learning, that is what i enjoyed the most.

For me as your instructor marking many many many versions of program plans had the greatest impact on me because I was continually impressed and proud of they way you confidently created plans for children in your care. Marking can take a long time... BUT PLANNING takes a long time too! You all made it very easy! I am so proud of you! (Larissa)

Planning different kind of activities (Weekly, Monthly, Developmental Domains planning) and for different age groups from Infants, to Toddlers, and Preschoolers is the greatest impact because I got to “experience” planning although it was challenging at times. Planning means your daycare is well-structured and everything is in balance, like for example; there’s free plays, arts & crafts, activities in each plans and that’s when or how you know that children in your daycare have lots of fun!

The greatest impact with me was when learning how to plan the monthly newsletter. What we had to do was writing a lot in one box then writing a few words and remembering what will be doing in the next month. It’s a lot of thinking of what we need to do or say to make it enjoyable to read.

The greatest impact and challenging was my plan for the Focus on language Activities and it was also good for me as I’ve learned about how to plan a focus on language and it was also challenging to plan it.

The play-based learning classroom was great impact as we had to do some part of the art by planning our own classroom.
