I think that traditional education operates with the assumption that there is only one way to teach and learn.

We learn in so many contexts and education should facilitate many types of learning.

As Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn".

is a process where people work together to construct knowledge. This is not always a teacher & student, but even if it's an author and a reader, I would say it's usually a collaborative effort.

4. Learners learn better in safe, comfortable, motivated environment

I think the key factor of learning is desire. If the desire of learning something (to make you a better person or to make you different) is strong enough, you are able to learn effectively, regardless of any learning context.

This image describes a typical "alternative" lifestyle. But there's no limit to the variety of structures we can create, and live within.

I like such powerful (and poetic) image as, to me it reflects full well how most of our schools are: places where we kill children own natural curiosity and interests, so as to mould them as WE want -parrots spitting out a curriculum they mostly don't care about or don't understand the relevance.

Learning is a result of teaching, whether deliberate or incidental, it is purpose driven.

A way that motivates and changes:
No matter what I learnt is important or not, boring or interesting, be noticed or not, it also always leads another learning or changing

A way with full of opportunity: No matter it taught badness or goodness, it opens new doors which we don't know before

A way that defines lifestyle: It continues in every where, and with everything, at every time, it is a part of life.

So after all, in the end of all those ways, everyone reaches something they didn't have before; therefore, learning is growing on that way.

We are always learning. All learning is experiential. There is no time in which the brain is not forming or reforming in response to environmental, sensory or emotional stimuli - actual or remembered. This creates a constant feedback loop which generates a field of consciousness that we extend into the world to experience as our reality.

If a have to learn something for an exam I sit down, play some music and read, underline, write diagrams; if I want to improve on my job I observe my peers or ask the to observe me and offer another perspective; if I have to learn to operate a new device I poke at it until it works. But the way I prefer learning is when I don't even realize I'm learning something mainly reading, listening to the radio, surfing the net... Knowledge is everywhere, you just need to pay attention and catch it.

Listenin people, watching around, touching things. Just trying to get involved in everything goes around you.

Learning is biased by the context since most of learning processes are unconscious, they do occur in the development of our skills and it is the academic learning process that conveys the "hidden" learning strategies and mechanism.

Learning is everywhere every time I interact with my outer world. Learning is opening windows and doors to our experience.

It's also about knowing the past, to understand the moment we are living in to prepare the future

when i first signed up for a course, the title was what is teaching and how to teach! my main aim was to acquire creativity to be a reason to pass not just knowledge but also humanity.. learning is happening throughout our lives, first when a baby starts discovering the world, trying to taste every single thing that reaches out to their hands, when they start to walk, it becomes even a greater learning mission, when they start to fit in the small areas, digging up drawers and closets to find about the new stuff!

analysing and questioning are the main faciliating ways to learn, then to reflect on what you learnt.

moreover, learning doesnt happen without try or experience! and this is how you make sure, learning actually took place!

The library is a great place for everyone to learn things, find information, and acquire knowledge.  It is like a small college!

That said, when "studying" activities; sports, cooking, the likes, interaction and hands-on would naturally be best, no question.

I have never studied in a noisy setting, I would like to try to study in a cafe or fast food restaurant to see if it is also OK.

flying a plane, we want to learn how, initially following the instructions and the script the instructor gave us, but then we want to create and discover our own flying style.

We are learning during all our life in every accion we do such reading, listening, speaking, whatching, sharing, discussing, feeling...

Everyday is a new, amazing and ing lesson in life.

In my opinion the enviroment to learn must be a large place where you can use many things to explore, create y manipulate. Also, you must have the opportunity to interact with another people, classmates, teachers and people from different background.

The interaction have to develop in a quiet enviroment, it is important to share and discuss your ideas with respect. If your statements are true, you will find the necessary arguments to support them and you will not need to argue. On the other hand, when your statements are not strong enough, you will have to change your mind in order to get the truth easier.

I am convinced you have to start the journey to many proyects in your life. By learning I understand getting something new, changing your mind your behavior and your habits. You will always learn by participating in different tasks and using your abilities to solve facing problems and situations.

What one perceives as a worthwhile investment for such a bet on the future depends largely on personal experience, the culture one lives in, and the available resources in a given environment.

As one can never be sure that when reaching to the stars one will actually get there, every single piece of learning should be thought of as a gift one might have strived for but one isn't necessarily entitled to.

1.Learning is goal directed: If
goals (both long- term and short -term) are stated in an explicit and definite manner,learning becomes meaningful and purposive.

2.Learning
is an active process: The greater the effort on the part of the
student, the better they will learn.

3.Learning is individual: Rate of learning differs from person to
person. Due to differences in the personality traits (own problem, needs,purposes, aspirations, interests, likes, dislikes) all differ in the rate of learning.

4.Learning is creative: Learning should allow to think critically
to some direction based goal, interpreting various type of information,
selecting best situation, insight, creation and evaluation.

5.Learning is transferrable: when knowledge gained inside classroom,
is used to apply to deal with new situation, learning can be transferred.

Students are encouraged to discuss, engage and share in the process of learning. Allowing a learner to contribute to that which is being learned provides a space which is more comfortable and the learning process is more easily engaged with.

In this images, my students were given individual Photoshop tasks but were encouraged to engage with the brief with the other classmates.

Learning is about exploring ingenious ways of thinking by creating new concepts and overstepping personal and social stereotypes .

It excites me to have conversations with people who know what matters to them and find out how and why those things matter to them through their stories. Even chit-chat can yield great lessons about the world views of others.

Learning is an answer to curiosity, thewish to know more about somenthig about our ambience or our world. I think human beings are interested on learning formal or informally. Learning is an open window where averybody can see a lot of important and interesting things. Not only young people want to learn , also adults because learnind does not have age and results something marvelous. Learning through our lives is not limited, in fact we are learning all the time . We never feel tire on learning on the contrary we ffel renovated. What is learning for you? Is it a way to get a good job or to earn a lot of money? Why should we learn and where? Personally I think that learning is an integral part of our existence. This is a special way of thinking. We need to learn every time and everywhere. And no metter how old we are, we need to get new skills and knowledge all the time to be a successful person. To my opinion there is no special models of learnig because this is not about going to shool or to the University. We can learn from different things: from other people, from our own experience, from the environment. Learning is not about memorising, learning is about understanding. That is learning for me.

There are things we all must learn, but there is no reason for everyone to learn the same way.

My granddad use to say that people can take your money and belongings but they can't take your knowledge. Learn as much about everything as you can.

The subject of the course is an invitation for a deep reflection. I joined the course with high expectations and enthusiasm. I have revised the material and videos for this week, they showed different perspectives in order to present new challenges.  

Learning is about curiosity, and I use all the possible ways when I want to get knowledge of something. Reading and putting down notes, talking to experts and observing what they do and how they do, problem solving, collaborative work… And when I know that I have really learned something is when I am able to teach back. Teaching back to the students or immediate explanation of new information to your friends drives you to the zone where the magic happens!

If you are exercising a pose of shooting and it feels uncomfortable there is a chance to learn that it make feel comfortable. Likewise, when you are speaking phrases or sentences which are very unfamiliar with there is a chance you can learn.

A learning context means different things based on the class; individual and curriculum objectives; and resources available. Personally I work well in quiet environments free from distractions. I also enjoy interactive sessions - eg interactive lecture. Working in adult education I find small group sessions most effective and beneficial – but require some managing and preparation in order to get maximise their benefits.

In this sense of learning – which is my present understanding of it – we learn from our first breath to our last. And we do it wherever we may be.

There are learning contents which educators find so much worthwhile, that they thing everyone should discover and practice them. This is what we tend to learn in the learning context of our schools.

So, we learn everywhere and we learn certain contents thought to be especially worth while in schools.
