My puppy likes the water. My puppy likes to swim. I’ve never seen a puppy who swims as much as him. He swims not on the surface, but only underneath. And maybe I should warn you,he has very scary teeth. Whenever people see him they’re frightened of his grin. Or maybe it’s his lack of fur. Or maybe it’s his fin. If you should buy a puppy, just get the kind that barks. Don’t be like me. I bought mineat a store that just sells sharks. --Kenn Nesbitt

My puppy plays piano. It’s the strangest thing to see.It seems, while I was practicing,he learned by watching me.He started out on chopsticks, then he learned to play some Bach.It wasn’t long before he knewthe blues and classic rock.He also taught my kitten howso they could play duets, and then they taught guitar and drumsto all my other pets. They formed a band and practiced hardand traveled all around, and instantly got famousfor their catchy “Pet Rock” sound. They made a smash hit recordand it wasn’t very longbefore my pets were millionairesbecause they wrote this song.–Kenn Nesbitt

WHEN FRANKENSTEIN WAS JUST A KID

When Frankenstein was just a kid,
he ate his greens. It’s true. He did!
He ate his spinach, salads, peas,
asparagus, and foods like these,
and with each leaf and lima bean
his skin became a bit more green.

On chives and chard he loved to chew,
and Brussels sprouts and peppers too,
until he ate that fateful bean
that turned his skin completely green.
He turned all green, and stayed that way,
and now he frightens folks away.

Poor Frankenstein, his tale is sad,
but things need not have been so bad.
It’s fair to say, if only he
had eaten much less celery,
avoided cabbage, ate no kale,
why, then, we’d have a different tale.

So, mom and dad, I’m here to say
please take these vegetables away
or my fate could be just as grim.
Yes, I could end up green like him.
So, mom and dad, before we dine,
please give a thought to Frankenstein.

- -Kenn Nesbitt
(Josh.W's Fav Poem)

I had a little problem. It gave me quite a scare.I looked into the mirrorand saw a pimple there. That pimple was enormousand growing on my nose, both bigger than a button, and redder than a rose.I knew my friends would notice.I thought that they would stare.I figured they would laugh at meto see that pimple there. So that’s when I decidedI would give them a surprise.I grabbed a pen and drew on ittwo tiny little eyes.I drew a nose, a mouth, two ears,a mustache, and a beard,to make my pimple obviousand wonderful and weird. My drawing was a winnerand a hit with every friend. Now painting on our pimplesis the hottest fashion trend
