    After her death, her cells were eventually harvested and used in research for decades to come. Researchers and scientists constantly used them in a bunch of different ways for numerous experiments and vaccines. 

    Although this groundbreaking work was done and shipped miles away from where Henrietta was, her family never received any money at all.
