         <description><![CDATA[<div>FNT is an active process. Sometimes students believe that taking notes or just reading their notes is enough. Unfortunately, that process is passive and students will get little out of it. Interacting with notes (e.g., re-writing them, highlighting, drawing pictures, etc.) opens up the the brain to begin processing and organizing the information. I also agree that recognizing the social/emotional component is important as well.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
