Both concepts urge Muslims to strive for excellence in their actions, with the firm belief that their deeds will be weighed in the Hereafter. The awareness of eschatology should inspire individuals to perfect their acts of worship, as they know these actions will determine their eternal destiny.

Ibrahim tried to guide him to worship the one true God (Allah), telling him that idols cannot help or hear prayers.

Respectful Communication: Even though Azar was angry and rejected Ibrahim’s message, Ibrahim spoke to him kindly and respectfully, urging him to believe in Allah. Ibrahim never disrespected his father.

Father’s Rejection: Azar rejected Ibrahim’s call to faith and threatened to punish him if he continued.

Based on the poster above, the conclusion of the explanation on hikmah in the six pillars of Iman is that each of these beliefs serves not only as a fundamental tenet of faith but also carries deeper wisdom that guides a Muslim’s actions, thoughts, and outlook on life. These pillars are not just intellectual affirmations but are meant to shape the believer’s worldview, instill virtues, and lead to a balanced life.

SUMMARY

Concept of ḥikmah (wisdom or positive values) have been introduced in which it is derived from ʿibādah (acts of worship).

In our first week together, we focus on building a strong foundation — both in understanding and in relationships.

ḥikmah — the deep wisdom and positive values that can be nurtured through worship (ʿibādah). Worship in Islam isn’t just about rituals; it’s about transformation. Each act of worship is a chance to grow in character and draw closer to Allah.

🌱 1. This means striving to perform worship correctly and sincerely, but ensuring our daily actions reflect the values of Islam — kindness, honesty, patience, and more.

✨ 3. Iḥsān (Excellence/Spiritual Virtue):

This is the highest level of faith — to worship Allah as though you see Him, even if you cannot see Him, knowing that He sees you.
Iḥsān is about beauty, sincerity, and excellence in everything we do. It means going beyond just ticking boxes in worship — we pray with focus, give with heart, fast with reflection. Iḥsān shapes not just our rituals but our character, making us better people both inside and out.
