He basically hits a home run every game so that's a consistency of performance plus he hits above .280 every year as well. He hits the ball at almost at the same spot and hits it hard almost have the time so that's accuracy. He controls the plate when he's up to bat since he is one of the hardest hitters to face. He used to strikeout a lot but has gotten better every year so that's learned. Hits at least 30, 40 or 50 home runs and over 100 RBI's a year so that's efficiency. It seems like he is certain he is going to hit a home run every time he goes up to bat so that's certainty. He wants to win every game and win championships and that's why he got traded to the Yankees and is goal directed. He wants to use the same swing every time he's up to bat since he wants to hit a home run every time and wants to be fluent so that's fluency.

Consistency or performance: This is something that Serena Williams definitely has. Not only are her ground strokes consistent, but her serves are also another important part to her consistency. A group of other elite tennis players claimed that
“Serena Williams is one of the only female tennis players that has a constant serve”. Because of her consistent serve she is able to get points from it and wear out her opponents.
Accuracy: Accuracy is important for Serena Williams and her career because without she wouldn’t be able to win any of her matches. Daily Mail showed an awesome video on just how accurate her serve is. There were can set up on the tennis court and she had to hit one of them each time she served. She ended up hitting all of the cans on her first try.
Control: A good tennis player must be able to control whatever they’re doing on the court. She does this by maintaining a positive attitude even when she isn’t feeling well about her level of play.
Learned:
Certainty:
Goal directed: Goals are important in any sport because it’s how an athlete gets better.
Fluency:

Consistency of performance:
Steph curry averages 27.9 points per game, with roughly 6-7 assists per game as well. He constantly is scoring very high numbers for his team which is a very large factor of why the Warriors are able to win so much. Curry has a 3 point shot of 40% this season, which is a very high number for the nba season.

Accuracy- Steph curry is very accurate with his shot percentage, whether it is his free throw percentage or his three point shot, both of these are at very high numbers for the season.
Control- Curry has very strong control over the ball and in such skills like dribbling, he is able to perform strong offensive moves without risking the loss of the ball
Learned
Efficiency- Steph curry is very efficient with his shot percentage, he is able to maintain a 92% free throw shot which is very efficient
Certainty
Goal directed - curry is very goal directed as he will work hard to get his goals of winning his games and improving his playing, which has gone up as he has played more seasons. He also works very harfd to train, which includes practicing basketball as well as putting time into the gym.
Fluency- Being fluent within basketball is a very important skill to have. Curry has a very low turnover rate, so he is able to complete plays all the way without turning it over.

It's also important
to be able to serve to specific zones to target the weak passer or the seams. The setter has to be able to control the ball so the hitter can hit it from the correct spot on the court. As a setter for the Long Beach Volleyball team, Misty Mae-Treanor had to use lots of control to set the ball. Later on she had to apply control in all areas of volleyball as a beach volleyball player.
Learned:
A learned skill in volleyball is the different type of serves. There are underhand serves, top-spin serves, float serves, and various jump serves. There are also different types of sets, such as back sets, sets for the middle, quicks, outside sets, etc.

Efficiency:
Efficiency in volleyball is the number of points a player makes opposed to the number of errors. You have to do make more points than errors in order to win a game. Misty May had extremely

high efficiency as she is the "most successful women's beach volleyball player with 112 individual championship wins"
Certainty:
There is no certainty in sports. The only thing that the athlete has complete control over is proper preparation prior to athletic competition and a positive mental attitude. There is no certainty that an athlete will win a competition, but they can be certain in working out and training as hard as they can. For example, one even that happened that was out of Misty May's control was when she hurt her ankle training for Dancing with the Stars. The injury almost cost her an entire season.
Goal directed:
Being goal directed means an athlete is willing to train their hardest with the intent of getting better. Every time

Misty May touched the ball, she did so with the goal of improving, not just for the sake of practicing. Goal directed has to be the mindset that separates a professional athlete from a novice.
Fluency:
Fluency is the smoothness at which an athlete preforms a skill in a sport. For example, watching Misty May play volleyball, she has near perfect form in all the movements she makes. She is controlled and calculated.
