My materials consisted of B mix clay and a variety of glazes.

I was super excited to bring this sketch to life. I love the colors and shape, line, and texture this piece creates and I’m extremely happy with the way my piece worked out.

My materials consisted of B mix clay and a variety of glazes.

I was inspired by a previous mistake that happened last year in the kiln. I wanted to recreate that mistake and make it into art. I used B-Mix Clay and two glazes

This was the first project I made at the beginning of the year. It was based off of a story in the Bible about the woman in the alabaster jar. I wanted to re-create the jar that was broken by breaking a pot myself. I used B-Mix Clay with speckles and a glaze.

This vase was originally inspired by a previous vase I made. The idea was to use warn that I could interweave between the holes and finish it up by placing flowers. However this idea wasn’t successful. The glaze ended up closing the holes making it impossible to thread the warn. After creating the three mugs stuck together I wanted to take a different approach by making a mug on the wheel and placing a wall with in, creating a hole inside the mug. This was my second high quality artwork and I wanted to see what it would look like for everyday objects to be dysfunctional. I approached this project wanting it to be a mix media.
