when i was p2, i wanted to call my friend to eat with me during recess so when i saw him i shouted out his name. it did not take me long to realise that the boy i shouted to was his little brother. they looked very identical but they were not twins. my friends little brother and his whole class looked at me in shock. they gave me a stare and i ran away to my class.

There was a time when I was in Secondary Four back in 1993 when I was in the midst of my revision for my O Level examinations. I was trying to mug for my exams at my study table, but my younger sister who was 10 years old at that time kept asking me if I could help her with her homework. At first, I told her that I could not help her or I could help her later, but she kept on asking me repeatedly. I was getting increasingly annoyed, and it was slowly getting to my nerves. Just as she asked for the umpteenth time and I was about to lose my patience, I remembered how she cried when she got a low mark for her previous test. I realised that my sister actually needed me to help and I was the only one who can help her. I decided that I could spend an hour to help her and I could always extend my revision time till perhaps 11pm.

I was actually glad that I didn't respond badly to being annoyed.

It was my younger sister’s graduation. I had to come with my mum because my other siblings were at my grandparents house.I didn’t want to came so I followed my mum to see my sister’s graduation. At the graduation, it is a sheltered place and is really big and cold. When my sister was performing, I took out my phone to take a video of her. A few moments later, one of the security guard asked me to turn off my phone as recording isn’t allowed. I was confused at first but then started to felt embarrassed. I had a best friend who I kept in contact with even after PSLE. We chatted occasionally during the holidays however after my holiday trip to Japan, I had forgotten to tell her about it so I had essentially ghosted her for two weeks.

However,when I arrived back, I tried to make up for it by contacting her again, apologising and sharing some photos of my japan trip and sharing my experience with her. Though halfway through, i felt that I didn’t want to speak anymore, and that i was unable to recall the rest of my trip even though it has been a few days since then. So i told her on text that i would contact her again and she agreed.

Time passed, and by then i realised that i had forgotten about sharing the rest of my experience with her. So i tried contacting her again but did not receive a reply. More time had passed and I realised that she had ghosted me and stopped contacting.

I felt like i had hurt her feelings by ghosting her two times in a row. I felt really bad about it and still kept her contact in case till this day.

One time, me and my friend went out to a shopping centre near My house.When we were in the shopping centre,we went to the food court and bought our own meal.When my order was ready, I immediately grab the .ood and run back to the table, i was starving. I was eating ,when a lady approach me, “Hey, you took my order.” Said the lady. I was in disbelief. I argued that she was mistaking me for the wrong person.Suddenly, one of the chef immediately approached us and said “ Sorry, i mixed up the order.” I was so shocked. I was in disbelief. I was embarrassed that i argued with the lady and ate her meal. I apologised profusely for arguing with her and offer compensation. The lady decline the offer saying is not my fault and Said if it happen to her she also be in the same situation. The chef compensate both me and lady for the mix up and give us free meal in return.

This happened I was maybe 12 years old. It was the first time that my mom and I went to Causeway Point when it just opened. It was super crowded. I was a short little boy so as I walked through the crowd being dragged by my mom by the the hand.

At one point, I let go of my mother's hand a while. And when I grabbed my mom's hand again, I wasn't really payitng attention. And then, when my mom didn't seem like moving, I looked up and to my horror, I saw that I was holding on to someone dressed differently, and worse, that person had no head! I actually screamed out loud a while, until i realised...

It was just a few weeks ago when me and my friend challenged each other for a mini-trick competition on our fixies at Jurong lake,passionwave. There was this specific trick called fish and chips where u have to do a 360 spin on the bike and getting on the seat post. We tried each other bikes and when I did it I realised that my friend’s frame was too small for me and in the end I fell in front of everyone. But luckily my friend said that I didn’t have to pay for the scratches.

It was using the bathroom in my tuition centre once, the tuition centre was relatively small hence there was only on toilet for both genders to share.

One morning, i was using the bathroom. I was standing in front of the mirror tying the strings attached to the waistband of my pants(thankfully i had already finished using the toilet and am fully clothed) however, i had lifted my shirt to a title above my naval,to make it easier to see as i tied the strings.

However, to my surprise, the door handle clicked. At first i thought it was okay, since i had locked the door so the other person outside wouldn’t be able to enter. But to my dismay, i had actually forgot to unlock the door. So there was a little boy, about primary 1-3, stepping in and pausing for a second. I immediately went to close the door after mumbling an apology. I thought all was well until i looked into the mirror and realised that a sliver of my midsection was exposed because i had forgotten to pull my shirt down. i was so embarrassed, when i came out i quickly rushed back to my class.
