Next Steps: Organize all anchor charts for ease of visibility and within their corresponding concepts. Then, showcase them for students to use more frequently and instead of explaining something, showing students where they can reference.

I teach "academic" vocabulary words on a daily basis after lunch and require kiddos to write a sentence using their selected words. I then require them to ask for the translation of the word and write the same sentence in English. I share 2-3 sentences their wrote on screen and invite entire class to help edit the sentences in turning them into more complex sentences.
