Though I didn't have the privilege to get to know Sam very well, I have heard that he was a truly caring and generous person who loved the Lord. I am lifting all of you up in prayer and may the Lord comfort all of you in this time.

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” (John 14:1-4)

although i barely knew sam, I can't imagine what must be going on in your community right now. all of us are praying for you guys right now. i mean all of us. so many people that didn't even know him too, including all of us at chinese christian fellowship, we are on our knees for you guys to be strong, to have peace, to be comforted.

"weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes in the morning" psalm 30:5

that night may be longer than any of us can imagine, but God will never fall off of his throne, especially in times like this. the entire christian community at rutgers is standing by your side in this time as your family.
