The 2 sources differ in what they see as the main cause if conflict between Singapore and Malaysia. Source B mentions that the real problem was political as the PAP campaign challenged Malay special rights and caused racial tensions. Whereas, in source C argues that Singapore was treated unfairly in economic matters as it had contributed to 40% of the revenue but was still denied the benefits of the common market. This shows that Source B blames singapores political interference while A blames malaysias economic policies. Hence the difference is the conflict mainly being about economic unfairness and political issues.
