After Greg and his team lose all their games and the season is over. Greg's mom felt bad. Then she gathered the whole team and entered them into the second chance tournament. Their jerseys were Greg's mom's old team's jerseys.

When they got to the second chance tournament they found out it was at a state prison. The rules were that if you win a game you go home if you lose you stay and play another team.

Greg and his team end up staying and they go to a nearby hotel. the boys were messing around in their room. They accidentally set off the sprinkler system and the whole hotel had to wait outside in the freezing cold for 2 hours.

(The next day) it's the final game. Surprisingly Preet shows up in a boot and can play. the game goes on and eventually one of the other players gets hurt. So Greg has to play for the hurt player on the other team. When Greg gets the ball he doesn't know what to do with it but then he chucks it backwards and makes it in. Then Greg and the other team win. Then they celebrate and go out for ice cream.

She adds more horrible vibes to make Lucy sad. Then a "ghost boy" came and the mean girl, Lucy, and the sidekick's eyes all caught on him then they called Lucy's name and she had to do the limbo 1 time. She did it and then that ghost boy came and the teacher said that there are a lot of things to carry so the ghost boy will pick up the things then she will have to learn how to do it. Then the teacher mentioned the name Collin. " Collin this is Lucy, Lucy this is Collin." Lucy waved at him shyly. Collin did not want her to feel bad so he waved shyly as well. He accidentally drops it when he was waving and then Lucy tries to pick it up for him but her head goes thru his body! He says that it is okay and a bunch of new students do that. Then he says " Come on lets find your first class" Lucy does not think everything will be going well after that happened...

Samheed and some edgy kid who he's been hanging out with for a while named Will Blair work on a project together. It's supposedly a 3-D paper door to be used to basically teleport places. Will just kinda reveals a whole evil plan. He says he's gonna beat up Alex's brother, Aaron, and then take his place.
He said this all while Alex was in the room.
Oops.
So, basically, Alex makes a door just like theirs, but better, of course. He's the main character after all. And uses it to go to Aaron's room that night. In the middle of Quill. What could go wrong? He watches Aaron sleep for a couple minutes, then wakes him up. Aaron shouts at him several times. Nobody heard.
Plot armor!
Alex says "Oh, yeah, uh, I'm not dead, now come to this cool magical place with a bunch of people you don't know."
Aaron replied with "Nah. I did my duty, you failed. Go back to your fantasy land and stop bothering my dreams. I'm not even allowed to have those."
Alex heads back.
Aaron comes too.
Alex tells Aaron a bit more about Artimé.
