This is clearly shown during this part of the book "No, I was only fooling said Ford, we are going to die after all" (Adams 75). He said that right after attempting to pull a lever that possibly could have saved their lives. I don't necessarily agree with this, there are some cases where being right really doesn't matter and being happy is considerably more important but there are times that being right is more important than being happy.

Some cases that come to mind where being happy is more important than being right is small arguements, such as those you have with friends or family where the outcome won't have any long lasting negative effects. An example of something like this is arguing with one of your siblings about what should dinner be that day.
