I would never forget how you warmly welcome each one of us whenever we meet or cross paths. I wish we could have more time together. You have developed such a great program for us. From the learning course to the internship program. CBM students were so lucky to have you as our Dean.
I remember how sweet you are. Whenever you see us, you will smile and ask us of how everything is going, later you will give us an encouragement or advice. I really appreciate that.

'Sunmee 교수님', 'Sunmee 학장' 등의 이름 중에서 저는 항상 'Mama Choi'라는 이름을 가장 좋아합니다. 왜요? 저는 선생님 모든 CBM 학생들, 특히 나 같은 BSHM 학생의 어머니와 같다고 느끼기 때문입니다. 선생님들은 항상 우리를 자신의 자녀처럼 돌보고 사랑합니다. 선생님이 만나서 잘 지내냐고 물을 때마다, 도전해보라고 격려해 주시거나, 만날 때마다 환하게 웃으시는 게 정말 느껴져요. 선생님이 보내주신 생일 축하 이메일과 CBM 2020 개막식에서 선생님이 하신 말씀을 영원히 기억할 것입니다. Can’t believe you have to leave us this early. It’s still vivid in my memory the first time I see you and your smile. I think I have never had the chance to actually call you Mama Choi in real life. I just heard others say it. nevertheless to me you truly are a mom to all Vinuni students, not just CBM ones.

One of the highlights of my undergraduate years was spending the last two years as one of your students. Thank you for showing me what is like to be fully welcomed. This is Tien. While I’m writing these words, I’m still sad that I can no longer see you in the next 1-2 years. It has been my absolute honor to be your student and to learn from your actions. You have inspired me to be more caring and supportive to the people around me. Any wonderful encounter will soon come to an end, and although I believe each and every VinUnians (especially CBM students) will feel very sad upon your leaving, it would be a new start for all of us. What matters the most (at least to me and my peers at CBM) would be your legacy during your time here. Mama Choi, you are and will always be part of our culture <3

The first time I had a chance to talk with you was the 1st Lunch with Sunmee (we had pizzas!!!), and I remembered having talked about the leaving of a dear Professor. "The future is going to bring us even better experiences", you shared, and I also hope the same thing for us!

Back to the convocation day of the first year, you've left a remark in my life with a story that I'd never forget. It's about you, a university girl just like us now, about how couragoeus you've been, and about how you've realized your dream. "If your dream hasn't made you scared, then it's not big enough". You've always been my inspiration Dean Sunmee, I still remember when I reached out to you about how insecure I felt in my first year, you showed me how different everyone's learning curve is and how amazing each day could turn into.
