It is often described as the most ferocious war, as well as the largest. This war begun once Germany invaded Poland on the 1st oof September, 1939. By doing this they had broken their treaty to stop invading countries. This breach lead to Britain and France declaring war on Germany.

However, only one week late on the 1st of September, Germany had breached this treaty and invaded Poland. This ensued on the basis that the country had been working with its allies, Great Britain and France, in order to encompass and dismember Germany. Germany seized Poland once it defeated the Polish army. Approximately 6 million people were lost.
