The school works with a team of qualified teachers trained by CELTA/ESOL standards. </div><div><br></div><div>Pegasus ELS is an institution promoting creative approaches in the informal education of adults and young learners. Its aims are to research new models and approaches that will enable a more successful attainment of our goal: developing the participants’ language and communicative skills. Thus, Pegasus ELS is an institution dedicated to fostering new ideas that will bring it closer to this objective.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>With the support of my excellent team of educators, I have developed an innovative approach in teaching students of EFL how to develop quality contents in English and, at the same time, enhance their digital skills. <a href="https://pegasuselsdigitalliteracy.wordpress.com/">Digital Literacy for EFL Students</a> is a course designed specifically for learners of English as a foreign or second language at Intermediate (B1-B2) level, aiming to advance their linguistic competence through the use of digital technology. The course comprises of five modules: </div><div>​</div><div>* Blogging</div><div>* Web Design</div><div>* Filmmaking and Video Editing</div><div>* Presentation Skill</div><div>* Social Media. </div><div>​</div><div>Digital Literacy for EFL Students was a finalist in the category of <a href="https://englishagenda.britishcouncil.org/events/eltons/years-eltons/local-innovation-finalists/local-innovation-award-partnership-cambridge-english-language-assessment">Local Innovation at the ELTons 2017 Innovation Awards</a>, organised by the British Council in partnership with the University of Cambridge (Cambridge English Language Assessment).</div><div>​</div><div>"Digital Literacy for EFL Students is a new and adventurous way of teaching digital skills to students of EFL. It makes use of important workplace skills to motivate learning in a creative and comprehensive package." - Expert Panel of Judges' Quote at the ELTons 2017 Innovation Awards (British Council, London)</div><div>​</div><div>Digital Literacy for EFL Students is also featured on the online platform of <a href="https://hundred.org/en/innovations/digital-literacy-for-elf-students">HundrED Global </a>– a non-profit organisation from Finland, whose mission is to help all young people flourish by seeking and sharing inspiring innovations in K12 education.</div><div>​</div><div>As a <a href="https://hundred.org/en/articles/hundred-ambassador-in-focus-perica-sardzoski?ref=rns_li">HundrED Ambassador</a> I am fully dedicated to promoting innovation in education in order to help young learners develop the necessary skills to meet the requirements of the digital age we live in. </div><div>​</div><div>Since 2015, <a href="https://pegasuselsdigitalliteracy.wordpress.com/">Digital Literacy for EFL Students </a>has been promoting digital content creation to students of EFL (aged 12-19), developing their language and digital skills in a creative way through a meaningful context. </div><div> </div><div>The 2018 is the <a href="https://europa.eu/cultural-heritage/european-year-cultural-heritage_en">European Year of Cultural Heritage </a>and it inspired me and my team to upgrade our Digital Literacy for EFL Students program with a Cultural Heritage Module:  the idea is to develop it in order to become a standard part for content production in the educational setting we provide. </div><div>​</div><div>Our goal is to educate our students about the significance of cultural heritage in shaping their cosmopolitan viewpoints, and to inspire them to explore this topic further, thus contributing to their greater understanding of the cultural diversity of the world we live in today.</div><div> </div><div>Moreover, we hope to inspire other educators to take up a similar approach in developing students' understanding of this topic, and at the same time helping them advance their language skills through the use of digital technology.  </div>]]></description>
