E: That made me feel like you were saying negative things about my nursing skills. I worked all night to keep those lines untangled, but the patient just kept moving and they kept getting tangled. The lines are all labeled, and the pumps are running correctly so there isn't a safety concern.

S: If you have a comment on something I did with a patient that you disagree with or have questions about, could you talk to me about it in private instead of in front of the patient? I don't want our patients to feel like their care isn't okay.
