Nas' "Thought provoking lyrics" (The Socratic Method, 2020) carry a strong and powerful message that has inspired me to put more thought and refinement into my lyrics. Nas' lyrical creativity also influences me. This is seen in tracks like "Rewind" on his album Illmatic (1994), where he tells a story backwards, even going as far as rapping phrases and lines in reverse.

Metro Boomin has had a massive influence on my production style. He employs a mix of heavy bass along with synthetic percussion and gothic/dark melodies into his music (High Snobiety, 2022). These features and themes are prevalent in many of my own tracks and beats. He primarily uses FL Studio (Sound On Sound, 2023) and is one of the main reasons that i started on FL as well.

Nas was inspired by the lyrical abilities of public enemy as well as the synergy that the duo bought to the table, in terms of lyrics and how they could work with each other to create hits. Nas also drew inspiration from public enemy in the way of using his platform to spread movements and messages.

Biggie smalls influenced nas by inspiring him to go for a more "polished sound" (hip hop dx, 2023). This allowed him to reach a more mainstream audience, instead of remaining underground as he had been previously. This production style caused him to explode into the mainstream audience and reach new places that hadn't heard him before.

Rakim was a major influence on Nas' lyricism, he was creating lyrics that completely revolutionised the genre, employing internal rhyme schemes and multi syllable rhymes. Rakim's lyrics were also more serious and thought provoking. (Reuben Ayala, 2018). these features of rap link to Nas as he his widely known for his lyrical prowess.

Metro Boomin's Experimental sounds and style were influenced by Michael Jackson "He was always inventing shit and reinventing himself and his style" (Metro Boomin, 2017).

Michaels influence on the industry is somewhat due to his ability to seamlessly blend genres like pop, R&B, rock, and dance music (DJ Thump, 2023). Metro has also shown his genre mixing abilities on albums such as "Heroes and Villains" (2022)
