         <title>Google Classroom</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teaching in a district that uses Google Education platforms such as Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and many more, but most importantly Google Classroom.<br><br>During this past distance learning school year, I utilized my Google Classroom with my students. I was able to effectively communicate, assign materials, grade materials, post any type of updates and or learning aids needed. Additionally, I was able to be reached 24/7 to address any student/parent  wants/needs or answer any questions they may have.</div>]]></description>

         <title>ThinkCentral</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>While our district uses Google for a number of applications, we also use ThinkCentral, an online version of our math curriculum, as a tool to drive instruction.<br><br>During the distance learning, my math instruction was forced completely into the digital world of learning. While it took some time, I was able to be a resource to fellow colleagues in how to best use the program to engage our students in their distance learning. <br><br>ThinkCentral offers a wide range of tools, some of my favorites being the personal math trainer (PMT), which allowed me to assign homework and tests digitally. Another great perk about the PMT is that it offers step-by-step instructions on how to solve similar problems, allowing the students to apply the concept to their work. Lastly, the program gives feedback to both myself and the student as soon as they complete each assignment.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Google Meet</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The most important part of my day was when I was able to have a Google Meet with my class. Being able to see their faces would bring me back to being in the classroom all over again. Just like in the classroom, students will try and get attention by being silly or making noises. With some of the Google Extensions the district provided us, we had complete control over their microphones allowing us to mute them as well as blank out their camera. Another great extension was Grid View. This allowed me to see all of my students at the same time. <br><br>Google Meet was very successful in my classroom as I had majority of my students on each day and when asked if they had any questions on what their weekly objectives were, I'd only get a few that legitimately had a question the rest just came on to see me and their fellow classmates as it brought them comfort. </div>]]></description>
