<title>T-W - page 107 - 115 ... I found the chapter on Nine Year Olds to be very interesting and relevant because 3rd grade (typically 9 year olds) is the first year I usually get to spend with my students. It is interesting to watch my 3rd graders interact with my 4th and 5th graders - it is SO clear that the 3rd graders feel like nothing is fair! They worry so much about everything - little and big - and often &quot;make a mountain out of a mole hill!&quot; </title>

<title>T -W - page 131 - 141 ... This chapter on Eleven Year Olds was another chapter that I found to be important to focus on. By the time my students are 5th graders, tpically they have been with me for two years. These consecutive years with students gives me an interesting view at my students. I see very clearly the changes that the book explains and was especially struck by the part that says how common it is for 11 year olds to question many of the adult judgements that they have previously accepted. </title>
