Filipino English is a fascinating variety of the English language, which is widely spoken in the Philippines. It incorporates a unique blend of local vocabulary, grammar structures, and expressions influenced by Filipino languages such as Tagalog. This linguistic and cultural blend reflects the diverse and rich heritage of the Philippines, making Filipino English a truly distinct and fascinating language. It is commonly used alongside Filipino (Tagalog) and other regional languages. For instance, in a recent show, Yaya Monina, played by Melai Cantiveros, used English to teach Belinda, portrayed by Alex Gonzaga, about table manners.

-Aljentera, Kimberly B.

It's expressive and fosters cultural pride, but considered non-standard. Efforts are being made to promote Standard English while valuing Singaporean English's unique language and culture. In this clip, a mother invests in her children's success, and they balance academics with passions. Despite hiding exam papers, the mother's strictness and concern are well-intentioned. Together, they strive for a healthy balance between academic achievement and personal fulfilment.

-Aljentera, Kimberly B.

In Australia, the way English's spoken differs, from how its spoken in America. This is because of the words used, ways of spelling words, unique pronunciations and the use of a lot of slang. Although Australian English mostly sticks to spelling rules there are some spellings mixed in. The way Australians speak has its style called 'strine' which involves changes in vowel sounds and special ways of emphasizing words. Moreover Australian English is made interesting by its language references, to culture and particular sentence structures that make it stand out as a form of English.

-Anteneo, Harrish E.
