Why are observable behaviors so important in analyzing the teaching process?</p></li></ol><p>observable behavior references a teachers ability to teach based on students learning and comprehension of the material, not just based off of hunches and assumptions.</p><p><br/></p><ol start="3"><li><p>What are' the benefits to music teachers, including directors of performing groups, of planning for their classes and rehearsals?</p></li></ol><p>the benefits of planning for classes and rehearsals are a more organized class experience for students, ability to ensure attention is kept during lessons, and time efficiency.</p><p><br/></p><ol start="4"><li><p>What are the advantages of unit planning?</p></li></ol><p>the advantages of unit planning are that teachers are able to map out the long term learning of topics with an emphasis on comprehension.</p><p><br/></p><ol start="5"><li><p>What factors should music teachers consider when planning for a class or rehearsal?</p></li></ol><p>they should account for attention spans, meaning they themselves should know what lessons or pieces will be worked, and where and how they will be studied.</p><p><br/></p><ol start="6"><li><p> What are the benefits of assessing the results of music classes and rehearsals?</p></li></ol><p>the benefits of assessing are that you are able to see how well students have comprehended and retained the ideas you have taught them.</p><p><br/></p><ol start="7"><li><p>What is the main difference between testing and assessing?</p></li></ol><p>assessing is a way for teachers to see how students are faring without grading or any negative connotations, testing is also a way to test comprehension, but does so in a more pressured environment.</p>]]></description>
