There were many people who put their mind to creating new inventions which would better everyone's lives. Finally, the U.S. government did not interfere with business. It was fascinating and also scary to learn about the conditions of the factory and its workers. I found it hard to believe that the owners never thought about anyone's safety. The most interesting thing about this fire was that there were countless other factories very similar to this one. They were all tragedies waiting to happen and the triangle shirtwaist factory just so happened to be the first.
