Mr. Brooks is researching Smart Hospital Beds.

What I've learned about Smart Hospital Beds is that they assist with helping the doctors, nurses, and other staff to know what's happening with a patient when a human being isnt around. For example, if a patient is need of assistance, they can press a button and call the office for help. Not only will it give them a live person to speak with, but it will also help with 'fall-risk' patients and giving accurate information regarding a persons' minute to minute experience in the bed. Comparing this information to how hospital beds used to be, we are headed in the right direction because they didnt have the functions or the abilities current beds have.

Personal Note: Thanks to the thoughts and concerns of people in society that they have others, that we have technology that's here to support the sick and those who are in desperate need of help.

Hi! my name is Benicio, and I will be talking about the smart boards. The smart board was introduced by smart technologies in 1991 by the co-founders David Martin and Nancy Knowlton. The smart board helps society by effectively improving education and business interactions. A teacher I know used Smart Board says that he enjoyed the use of it because he was able to teach remotely during COVID-19. Because he was able to log into Google Classroom, use Google Meet, and a software to act as a whiteboard allowed pupils to see exactly what was expected of students. Smart boards allow people to display and interact with digital content on a larger screen in-class. Some improvements that can be made is that they can touch the screen and interacted with the screen.

Hello, my name is Andre. Today I will be speaking about animatronics. Animatronics have been around since the early 1950’s. The idea of animatronics in public started by Walt Disney. Walt Disney himself and his team of workers were called WED enterprises. Did you know that animatronics helped society in many different ways? It revolutionized entertainment, it enhanced education, it advanced healthcare, and it made marketing and advertising more popular and the impact these statements made were that we can have a vision on the future and what it holds. Lots of companies use animatronics like Chuck E. Cheese. They used animatronics to entertain guests. Animatronics are robotic puppets, often resemble as animals, or characters, which are made to make moves and perform actions mostly for entertainment or story telling purposes. These models are mostly controlled by external computers and rely on pre-programed sequence of movements and behaviors to function properly. Animatronics are utilized best in theme parks, attractions, mostly in rides or shows, companies want to create immersive and life like features to animatronics. I interacted with an animatronic before, when I was at chuck e cheese, I touched one of the animatronics to know what is inside one of them. In improvement I think animatronics could have is coding in dialogue for the animatronics so that it can have more of an interaction with the people using them.
