Good morning, everyone.

I'm aware that you all have very tight schedules, so I appreciate you taking the time to come here today. For those of you who don't know me, my name is …, and I'm here to talk about our country's economic performance over the past decade.

Now, let me start by asking you a question: Imagine you are an economic analyst. How would you explain the dramatic change we see in this graph?

My talk is particularly relevant to those of you who are involved in long-term strategic planning. My objective is to provide an overview of our GDP growth from 2011 to 2020, and pinpoint the key challenges we faced. I've divided my presentation into three main parts. First, I'll describe the period of steady growth. Then, I'll move on to the abrupt decline in 2020. Finally, I'll offer some concluding thoughts.

My presentation will take about 15 minutes, and there will be time for questions after my talk.

As you can see from this chart, our economy had a very strong and stable period.

I would like to draw your attention to the figures from 2011 to 2019.

Right here in 2011, our growth rate was a healthy 6.24%. After a slight dip in the next two years to a low of 5.25%, the rate quickly recovered.

From 2014 onwards, we saw a positive and steady trend. The growth rate went up consistently, reaching a peak of 7.08% in 2018. It stayed almost the same in 2019, at 7.02%. This shows that our economy was healthy and doing very well.

However, this brings me to my next point, which is the problem we faced in 2020.

I'd like to emphasize that the growth rate plunged to just 2.91%. This was a sharp fall of over 4 percentage points compared to the previous year. What's the reason for this drastic decrease? The unexpected drop was caused by the global economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a consequence, the economic activities were severely impacted.

So, while we had a long period of good growth, the year 2020 shows us how quickly things can change due to big events in the world.

Well, this brings me to the end of my presentation.

Thank you all for listening. Now I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Now I’d like to talk about the GDP growth rate in the period from 2011 to 2020.

As we can see from the chart, the growth rate started at 6.24% in 2011, but it dropped to the lowest point of that period, 5.25% in 2012. After that, the rate slightly increased and remained quite stable between 2013 and 2015, around 5.4% to 6%.

From 2016 to 2019, GDP growth was stronger, reaching about 7% in both 2018 and 2019.. This shows a stable and positive economic trend.

However, in 2020, the growth rate fell sharply to only 3% . This was the lowest in the whole period, mainly because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In conclusion, during this period, Vietnam’s GDP growth was generally stable and positive, but it was strongly affected in 2020.

Thank you.

The line graph illustrates the GDP growth rate from 2011 to 2020. In 2011, the rate was relatively high at 6.3%, but it fell to 5.3% in 2012. After that, the economy gradually recovered, reaching 6.7% in 2015. The highest growth was recorded in 2018 at 7%. However, in 2020, there was a sharp decline to only 3%. In summary, the economy experienced steady growth throughout most of the decade but was severely affected in 2020.

Nhóm 8

Today, I would like to draw your attention to the propotion of GDP growth from the line graph in the period 2011-2020. In 2011, the growth rate reached over 6%, but decreased slightly to over 5% in 2012. From 2013 to 2015, the GDP growth rate increased slowly and reached a high of 6.68% in 2015. In 2016, the rate decreased slightly to 6.21%, but from 2017 to 2019, the economy grew strongly, peaking about 7% in 2018. However, in 2020, the GDP growth rate decreased sharply to approximately 3%, which is a significant decrease compared to previous years. In summary, the line chart shows that the economy has had steady and impressive growth for most of the decade, but 2020 was a very challenging year.

Good morning everyone

Let’s now have a look at the line graph, which shows the GDP growth rate in the period from 2011 to 2020.

You can see that the lowest point is in 2012 and 2013, when the growth was only 5%.

What I’d like to point out here is that from 2014 to 2019, the economy was quite stable, with growth rates between 6% and 7%.

The key figure on the right-hand side shows the highest growth of the period, at about 7% in 2018, followed closely by 7% in 2019.

So I’d like to draw your attention to the year 2020, when the rate dropped sharply to about 3%, mainly because of the global pandemic.

In conclusion, the chart shows that Vietnam’s GDP growth rate was quite stable and strong between 2011 and 2019, mostly staying above 6%. However, in 2020, there was a sharp decline to around 3%, which highlights the serious economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Good morning everyone, Today I would like to highlight some key trends in the GDP growth rate in the Period from 2011 to 2020. To begin with, in 2011 the economy recorded a growth rate of 6.24%. However, in 2012, there was a sharp decline to 5.25%, marking the lowest level in the early stage of this period. From 2013 to 2015, the growth rate gradually picked up, reaching 6.68% in 2015, which shows a steady upward trend. In 2016, the figure slightly dropped to 6.21%, but afterwards, the economy experienced robust growth, peaking at 7.08% in 2018. In 2019, the GDP growth rate remained strong at 7.02%. Nevertheless, in 2020, we witnessed a dramatic fall to only 2.91%, mainly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which had a severe impact on economic performance. In conclusion, the GDP growth rate during this decade shows both fluctuations and resilience. While the economy reached its peak in 2018, it also hit a record low in 2020 due to global challenges. This demonstrates that economic growth is highly vulnerable to external shocks. Thank you for your attention.
