There are lots of different reasons for visitting other countries on business.

 For example, to visit clients or customers, to see colleagues and at different location or to go to a conference. Claire works at the event academy and event management school and she often travels for work. 

My name is Claire Derek and I’m a principle for the Event Academy. I travel quite often around Europe for work. And I often travel in the UK. My next trip is Oxford. I’m travelling with my colleague. 

How are you getting there? 

We’re renting a car because it’s quicker than going by train. It takes about 2 hours. We’re travelling there and back in 1 day. 

Where are you meeting your client? 

We’re meeting our clients at the office in central Oxford, after Oxford i’m going to Manchester for 2 days for conference. I’m going by train to Manchester and i’m staying in a hotel for 1 night. 

What are you planning to do in the evening?  

In the evening, I am planning to meet some friends and go to restaurant

Michaela works at Shed collective, a digital design company. My name is Michaela grey. And i’m an operation and client director for Shed collective. I travel quite regularly. Sometimes within UK and often near London but sometimes also travel internationally. I’m travelling to Hongkong for 2 weeks in September. On this trip, i’m travelling alone. But previously, i went Hongkong with 2 colleagues. 

How are you getting there? 

I’m travelling to Hongkong by airplane from London airport to Hongkong airport. I booked my flight 1 month ago and i booked it online.

Where are you staying? 

I’m staying in a hotel in central hongkong. 

Why are you going to Hongkong? I’m working with my client at their offices in central hongkong, at center 2 buildings and it’s on the 35th floor. Our client is opening a sport stadium and we’re building a website for the sport stadium. 

What are you planning to do in the evening? 

Some evenings, i’m planning to do some sightseeing in Hongkong and some evenings, the client is taking me to the restaurant. I’m planning to do a cable car trip up the mountain, you may get the really good view cross Hongkong.
