2. Polednice / The Noon

   
   

   Mysthical creature in slavic folklore who walks on fields around noon and punishes all who worked on fields that time or steal unattended children. She is mostly describes as ugly old lady with white dress. Among Czech people poem about Polednice is the most known poem of all the time probably because all elementary schools teach this poem from Karel Jaromír Erben.

   A benevolent ghost said to haunt mostly all of the castles in the Czech Republic. Sometime she was just a ghost and scare people and sometimes she appeared before significant events (death, child birth, wedding etc...) either as a warning or a blessing.

   The most known and favorite Czech creature. There is load interpretations mostly it is servant of hell. He tries to trick humans into making deals that usually end up in the human's favor through cleverness or divine intervention. 5. Vodník / Water Goblin

   
   

   An old man with green hair, a frog-like appearance, and often dressed in a green coat. He lives in ponds, rivers, and other bodies of water. Vodník is known for his trickster nature, often luring unsuspecting people, especially young women, into the water. He is said to capture their souls in jars. However, Vodník can also be benevolent, helping those who respect the waters. He simbolize the dangerous power of water.
