In the twentieth century, science fictions writers Huxley and Bradbury ultimately feared that technology would severely affect the patience of its users, and through their respective novels they suggest that with technology's many conveniences, people are becoming more impatient. Moreover, in her article, Price-Mitchell agrees that technology is causing people to be more impatient, and I agree based on my own experience with technology in the twenty-first century.

But because it is so accessible, our patience often relies on the structure of technology itself. Like the radio shows that are cut to be really short, we get used to this shorter and faster clip of information and then all of a sudden anything longer that requires more attention seems impractical, highlighting the impatience promoted by technology.
