I was born and raised in Atlantic City. I attended Holy Spirit High School and Glassboro State College. I went back to Rowan and obtained my teaching certification through the Alternate Route Program. I have been a teacher for 16 years. Prior to that I worked in the casino industry. I have been teaching 2nd grade at the Northfield Community School for 8 years. I have been the general education teacher in the special education inclusion class for the past 5 years. I live in Northfield with my husband and two children. Both of my children are in college studying to be teachers. My son will begin his student teaching in the fall. Once this course is completed I can apply for my special education certification.
