The story starts when the man was young he was in boy scouts and while he was in boy scouts he went to a rally for boy scouts and girl scouts etc. While in the rally he was the flag holder and while walking down the road he was starting to get pelted by rocks, soda bottles, etc he was shielded and brought home this was the moment he learned about racism. Now in this day kids learn about racism rarely before the schools teach but when they do become a victim about racism its all most the same way people throwing or doing intentionally mean things. The racism back in the years the book Huck Finn was created in is a little more toned up to what we have now. Back then black people were property and they were peoples property they were treated poorly but that also depended on what family they were owned by. Now in this day in age slavery is not even a thing and if there is it's highly illegal. But there still is heavy racism in the country in some places.

That was done by using face paint and covering your face in black paint and using white paint around the mouth and eyes to represent a black person. This form of comedy was kinda erased but was still there for a time and was mostly on purpose but some was a mistake. The form of comedy was scene on bugs bunny, famous plays, and moves. This shows how far we've come in the past 140 years and how people don't treat people like that we don't own people we don't whip or hurt people on purpose (I hope) and we try not to hurt people emotionally in this magnitude.
