Most social class pyramids start with a ruler, then have rich people/nobles, then some type of army, then workers(Farmers, merchants, ect.), then slaves. There is some variation, like in Japan where the military leader is under the emperor, not nobles. India is also different because they put scholars above kings. Another similarity is that rich people are normally ranked higher than poor people, and rich people get more opportunities and resources.

The rich and powerful, the middle class that have some power, and the lower class, who mainly work poor jobs and have little to no power. The rich are usually kings rulers, priests, and government officials. The middle class is filled with farmers, merchants, and others who work jobs such as these to get by comfortably. Finally, the lowest class is comprised of enslaved people, unskilled workers, maids, and more people who barely earn enough to put a roof over their heads.

Most social class Hierarchies have a system based on groups of people with the highest power, the groups of people who don't have a lot of power and have to work a lot, and lastly people who don't have any power at all. The social pyramids consist of Royals, Priests/Nobles, Upper Class, Middle Class, and Lower Class. The highest ranked people are mostly kings/queens who have a lot of responsibilities and are respected the most. Lower classes like farmers and slaves are not respected a lot and have little honor. The jobs are mostly hereditary and have little social mobility. The social pyramid is organized in the responsibilities every class has to complete and how much power or knowledge they have to complete it. For example, the monarchs have the responsibility to open resources to civilization and have enough power to do that while farmers have the responsibility to produce food and have the knowledge on how to do that. This cannot be the opposite because the farmer has no knowledge on how to rule and will get overthrown and vice versa. In conclusion, the social structure is based on hereditary, power, wealth, and social status.

-Bhavya Mahajan

The highest ranked or the leader gives wealth and resources out for services and taxes in return. Higher classes mainly have more resources and are more open to wealth and education. The middle classes are the ones who have limited resources and freedom is limited. Most civilization had slaves and slaves were at the very last class and were used and no pay resulting in a way in which social mobility was rare. Most civilizations had little to no social mobility in terms of social classes.

Most social class hierarchies are similar because all of the civilizations had hereditary classes and all had one person who leads, like a king, queen, priests, emperor, advisor, etc. They also all had farmers. merchants, and peasants who worked lower than them. The major differences were the flexibility in social mobility and individual opportunities to gain rights and education. The social classes helped the civilization to prosper in a more organized society with a lot of resources with knowledgeable people for their own social classes.

Most social class hierarchies have different classes categorizing people based on their social status and value to the civilization. The higher classes are made up of wealthier people such as nobles, kings, and priests. They also play a bigger role in society. The people in the middle class are mainly craftsmen, merchants, and sometimes farmers. These people are not very important, but they are not the least important. They make the goods for people to buy as well as provide services. For example, the farmers in Ancient China had more value to the middle class. They provided food for the people so they were respected, as food is key to survival. However, merchants and traders were often not respected as much because they made their living by selling the work of other people(potters, artisans, etc.). Lastly, the lower class was made up of slaves. Slaves had no value at all and were mostly made up of prisoners captured in war. They had no power at all and were forced to work without pay. Social status in hierarchies also determines how much power and resources people get. If someone is low on social status like a merchant or slave, they will have little to no power. They will also not get other important resources like education. On the other hand, someone higher up like a monarch or noble will have lots of power, and they might also get an opportunity to get an education. In conclusion, a social class hierarchy is based on wealth, power, and social status.

Most Social Class Hierarchies are based on wealth, social status, and overall societal power. Most Social Castes have a leader, such as a king or an emperor at the top of their pyramid. This is because they usually have the most power over the people and have more wealth overall. Next come nobles such as wealthy landowners or government advisors/officials. These people usually are loyal to the king and provide military, as well as give wealth and taxes. These people have power, but not as much command as the king/emperor does. Below them come the soldiers who protect the civilization. They are respected for their work in protecting the nation, but yet don't get as much pay or wealth as nobles or kings do. Lastly, peasants, laborers, merchants, traders, craftsmen, and jobs like so are considered "lowly" and menial. Hence, most social classes have this format, with slight variations over time as they adapted to how their people were.

But in my previous answer, I talked about 3 main groups of social classes, the high class, the middle class, and the lower class. In the higher classes, power is hereditary or passed on. These people are treated with respect and get the most lavish share. You probably think this is the dream life, right? Wrong! When you yield such power and money, you are expected to help out, donate, and give money to charity to keep a good reputation. A lot of high-class people may not like donating or giving away money for nothing. (People also have to not seem like a money hog.) So, even though the highest class seem like the best class, with lots of power and money and lavish living styles, the wolf's piece of the share may not always stay that way. Moving on to something lower, we have the middle class. In my previous answer, I said that the middle class has less power, less respect, and less money than the high class. But are still pretty rich and have some power. There's not much to talk about in this class, but in my previous answer, I talked about jobs each class could have. I said that people in the middle class, most likely have jobs such as Farmers, Merchants, or Unskilled workers. The middle class has no control over slaves whatsoever unlike the higher class. Now, moving on to the lower class. This class has no respect, little to no payment, and very, very poor living conditions. I said in my previous answer that the lower class was mostly slaves. These slaves are owned by usually the high class which make the slaves work for them, this means they are not free to make their own decisions and sometimes have to give up their children. These poor living conditions are awful and hard. Nobody wants to live this. There is no hope or any good side to living in this class. These people get the mouse's share in the feast. (Figuratively) In conclusion, all 3 of these main social class groups differ from each other. They all have their advantages and disadvantages. Some civilizations break these three groups up even more to create more social class groups. It depends on which civilization you go into. Today we usually don't keep social classes, at least in the United States, but we can see how our ancestors lived back in ancient times.

Most social class hierarchies are based on how rich you are(wealth) and how much power you have in society. It can also be based off of how respected you are. This is shown by a lot of early civilizations with them having their king who has the most wealth and power of a society as their highest class. However, people with not a lot of wealth and no power such as slaves are levels down from the rulers.

Most Social Hierarchies are based on how rich you are and what omportance you have to the civilization. The highest ranked power is usually the king, but again, it depends on what importance you have to the civilization. Ancient India for example, was quite oriented around spirituallity, so religious leaders, teachers, and priests had higher status than kings. Each class exchanges their goods and services to thive. For example, a farmer gives food to a knight in exchange for protection. Where a job would fall in the cast system could also depend on you city/state, as something might be more important to that city state. The higher the class, the mire respect you get. Most commonly, slaves are people captured in war.

Most social class hierarchies have a singular ruler at the top. Another common similarity is that the lower classes tend to have a larger population than the others. For example, peasants made up 90% of the population in Medieval Europe. Another common example is that the monarch/leader is usually accompanied/shares power with other officials, whether it be nobles with lots of money or government officials. Also, each of the classes usually relied on each other, especially in Medieval Europe, where the King relied on the Nobles, who relied on the Knights, and so on. Lastly, feudalism seems to have been very successful in the civilizations that used it. The prospect is used in everyday life, and it empowers people to work. The people of civilization look forward to reward.

Most Social Class Hierarchies have a social system where people are divided and ranked based on their wealth, power, and jobs. The top class is usually a monarch or leader of the country. Higher classes usually consist of nobles, advisors, government officials, etc. Middle classes may be businessmen, soldiers, scribes, priests, and more. Lower classes would have merchants, traders, laborers, and farmers. A person in a higher class will have more resources, responsibilities, higher payment, and are well respected. A person in a lower class will have less resources, lower payment, and are less respected. They have limited opportunities and options for their future. The way resources were divided, with higher classes having an abundance and lower classes lacking resources, made the social class hierarchies unequal.

Most social class hierarchies rank people based on economic wealth, not intelligence. Your power will be a result of your wealth and family line. If you come from a well-named family and have enough wealth, you would have been up in the social pyramid. In addition to this, in most hierarchies, women had little to no power. They were usually ranked low in the pyramid. The most they could do was be a scribe, scholar, or priestess who worshiped the gods they believed in. In most civilizations, either slaves or merchants were the lowest class. Slaves were captured from wars that the specific civilization had won and they were given no respect and rights. Merchants were also ranked low because they didn't produce anything for society and depended on others' work to earn profit for themselves. For most civilizations/hierarchies, the working class was the middle class, and it made up most of the population. The working class included a wide range of jobs including, craftsmen, artisans, militaries, etc... Upper middle classes included nobles and wealthy landowners while the lower middle classes included farmers, peasants, and laborers. In most hierarchies, labor and service were rewarded with land, not money. These are the things social class hierarchies had in common.

Almost all societies have social class systems, which are ways of ranking people based on things like money, jobs, and how others see them. These systems create different levels, where people at the top have the most advantages. You can be born into a class or earn your way into one, but moving between classes isn't always easy. Different classes often have different lifestyles and customs, and your class can affect your opportunities in life, like getting a good education or job. These systems tend to stay the same over time, because people born into rich families often have more chances to succeed, and the unfair distribution of resources can cause problems between different groups.

A similarity between most social class systems is that the divisions between groups are distinguished by wealth, benefit, or impact. For instance, most (if not all) of the social hierarchies show the king/ruler/emperor in the upper class, which makes sense because they have the most power in the social pyramid. Feudal social hierarchies, like Europe and Japan, display their social hierarchies based on benefit towards the civilization (this is shown in many other social pyramids, but I'm just using these as examples). This is because the military rulers are shown right under the ruler, which is a high class- and this is because they make an impact on their respective civilization(s). Finally, social classes keep the people with the most impact near the top. In theocracies like India and Egypt, priests are higher than some military rulers and soldiers- this supports the fact that the impact of the people influences their position. Another thing social class hierarchies have in common is that poor people or outcasts are usually placed at the bottom. All pyramids have slaves at the bottom, and the social pyramid of Ancient India explicitly states "Untouchables" to describe those at the bottom social class.

Most Social Class Hierarchies have a system where people are put into classes ranked from highest to lowest based on power. These classes determine your job, wealth, responsibility, and social status. At the top of this social pyramid, there are usually rulers and their "advisors", they are traditionally kings, queens, emperors, gods, or religious leaders. They usually have more education and responsibility compared to those closer to the bottom the the pyramid. They are also extremely respected and even worshiped. Below them was the middle class made up of mostly warriors, nobles, merchants, and sometimes farmers. They receive some education and are still respected. Then there is the lower class which consists of the commenters, peasants, and slaves who do most of the work. They have fewer rights and opportunities, they don't get an education, and neither do they get respected for the work they do. The higher class has more privileges and better living conditions. While the lower classes have to work extremely hard to meet their basic needs. This structure makes sure that the higher class always has more wealth and power, while the lower class has to do labor and struggle to survive. These are some things that Social Class Hierarchies have in common.

Most social structures are based on the civilization's religion, and have priests at the top. Almost all civilizations (except India) have a king or other ruler at the top, who enjoys the profits of their civilization. All the social structures rank people based on their wealth, intelligence, connection to religion, or family connections, sometimes a combination of these factors. Slaves or less-skilled people are at the bottom of the social class, and are considered inferior and aren't respected. Slaves are usually prisoners, captured during wars and are made to do hard labor without rights, while the leaders are the most respected and don't have to do hard labor. It is almost impossible to move up in social classes, and people usually stay in the class they were born in.

~Aarna Vashisht

Most social class hierarchies have a system that divides people in society based on their social status. This determines what roles, rights, and opportunities they have in their civilization. The person at the top of the Social Class hierarchy is some sort of a king and has the most power, while the people at the bottom are people who have very few rights and are usually enslaved people. This is the reason why this system is unfair and the people in the upper class have more power and rights than the people in the lower class. Most social classes also had merchants, scribes, and artisans in the middle class. This structure also ensures that the people in the upper class have more wealth and power. However, the people in the lower class have to go through many challenges and have to struggle to survive. These are a few of the things that most social class hierarchies have in common.

~Jiya Shah

Most social classes usually only have 1 -2 people in charge of everything. A lot of the social classes are also based on the wealth and honor of their role, some examples include Nobles, and merchants being at the bottom because of their low honor. Some differences between them is that sometimes there was one class who had the most power and not just one leader such as India. Another difference between them is that some of them were reliant on each other giving more moral to everyone such as the Feudal system.

I noticed that rulers or monarchs are on top of the social ladder because they have the most power. I think this is a fair placement because they are the people who run the country or place. Another similarity I found was that Peasants and Merchants/Traders were placed rather low in every social class. I think this is an unfair placement because the merchants and traders are the people who trade and have an income of great riches. Some differences I noticed were that some social classes had a placement called outcasts. I think there shouldn't be a placement called outcasts because you never know what situation that person's family would have been in. Maybe a person's family did not have enough money to send their child to school leading them into a tough situation where they cannot find a job since they are already labeled as an outcast One other difference I noticed was that in some social classes had warriors on their social pyramid and most of them were pretty high. I think this is a fair placement because the military fights for their country and should be honored.
