They dressed in leather jackets and jeans, and slicked back their hair with gel. The greasers were technically a gang, and were involved in fights. There were girl greasers as well that were associated with the guys, but didn't fight with them. The greasers were known as “rebels without a cause” and acted out of boredom. Some popular restaurants were Mcdonalds, Mr. Steak, and Howard Johnsons.
