Desired outcome:
I would like for all parents to feel involved and part of their student's academic life. I don't want them to feel pressured into doing anything, I want it to feel more like a gathering or big family tree in a way where everyone communicates and gets along with each other.

Voice and Choice:
I believing hearing parents out and listening to what suggestions they have is a good first step into giving them a voice. 1. Create a welcome environment through my words and my actions - always a smile and a handshake, always positivity even through email or phone calls or text.
2. Provide parents and guardians with the means to properly support their students - give them resources to support their spiritual, emotional, and academic growth.
3. Gain their trust and support for when I need it - I have been successful in my programs with garnering parent support for my programs to the point that if I suggest that my program needs something, I usually am able to get it.

Desired Outcomes - I would like my parents to feel that they came out of my class with the confidence that their student has achieved something. I would also like to see the families build a culture that encourages reading. Books in hands and stories that "my kid just read X book and they loved it" would be great signs of accomplishment. 

To build voice and choice, I could solicit feedback through email and surveys about the events in the school and possible field trips we could take as a class. Parents are expected to complete a certain amount of service hours at our school.
