A generalization about what people are like regardless of their individual characteristics. There are three examples of Stereotypes, and they are: a) Assumptions about individual characteristics that shape first impressions of people. b) Assumptions that affect how you act towards a person and how that person acts towards you. c) Self-fulfilling stereotypes. 
I would think of a stereotype as something that you use to see/describe a noun as.

Race and Ethnicity are not the same. 
Race generally is a separation of physical characteristics, such as skin color, where Ethnicity is a separation of background, and culture.

I happen to be in that 8.6%. My mom and I live in a low-income apartment, each working jobs, mine part-time, hers full-time, and each paying certain bills, all while I go to full-time college as well. 
Working poor, I could describe, is learning to live with what you have, until you get more. Currently, I am making minimum wage, paying a few bills, and going to college granted by FAFSA.

Norms are basically a set of rules or standards for specific nouns, an example would be something like "We're in a restaurant, don't take your shoes off." The norm here is that typically, almost always, people leave their shoes on when they're in a restaurant because it is common courtesy, and also because the floors are kinda gross. 
The image here that I chose to display a norm is from a summer camp at church that my friends and I attended. The norm set for church is that during worship music, you let the Holy Spirit fill your heart and take over you, leading you to give all praise to the highest King of Kings. This might look like denying a part of your personality so that you can fit in with others around you. 
This picture is a representation of one person standing out against their peers, accepting their differences and not conforming to what everyone else is.

Who benefits from this? Those that benefit from this are young children who see Simone as a role model and aspire to be her, they see her diligence and want it for themselves. 8. What is missing from this that is important to note? I felt like a girl misunderstood that no one really knew, I felt like it was time to stop making excuses for any part of my life that I wanted to change. Once I made that choice I became a Girl on Fire, the lion broke free!!" 10.
