Overthinking can make people regret things.

When I was in middle school I had really wanted to get my ear pierced I told my mom about it and she said it was ok. But when we went to a piercer I started to get really nervous because I was starting to overthink. How bad is it was going to hurt? How am I going to sleep? What if my hair gets caught in it? You know, stuff like that. And because of that I ended up not getting it pierced at the time. Then, months later I started to regret not getting it pierced because I though, if I had gotten it pierced, it could have been heal, and this and that.

How does relate to the theme?

This relates to the theme because it shows that since I didn't go through with it at the time, months later I had started to think how it could have been healed and it wouldn't hurt anymore, which made me regret my decision.

A few years ago I wanted to dye my hair. But I ended up not because I started to think what if I don't like it, what if it messes up my hair and so on. And I ended up regretting not doing it. I don't go outside to much so if I didn't like it, its not like a lot of people will see.

This relates to the theme because it shows that since I didn't dye my hair because I started to overthink, I ended up regretting it.

When I was in sixth grade I had money saved up, not for any particular reason. And one day I went to the pet store to get food for my dogs, and I had seen a hamster, and I really wanted it. So I used all of my saved money to get it and all of the stuff needed for it. But then I started to think about how it was kind of a big responsibility because I would have to clean its cage constantly, feed it every day, and clean it. Which made me kind of regret getting it.

This relates to the theme because it shows that after I got the hamster I started to overthink about how I'm going to take care of it, which made me regret getting it.
