         <description><![CDATA[<div>Realism because the US wanted to benefit from trades of all countries. The US wanted to keep a trading post in China that the US proposed and not the Chinese. The US also wanted to expand economically due to the great depression and led to stopping European powers from once again not allowing the US to take advantage of Chinese resources and markets</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
