The sensitive plant has many thin leaves that grow from each side of the stem. It moves when you touch it. It looks like it is hiding and doesn't want you to touch it! Isn't it funny? The plant closes as an adaptation for survival. This is not a carnivorous plant, so the insects are not eaten by the sensitive plant.

This plant is a species of Philodendron, it was "created" in the 1970s in Florida, United States, through a cross with Philodendron erubescens and another philodendron whose species is still unknown.

Its pink variegation is a mutation resulting from this cross!

It is found for sale on the internet, it's kind of expensive, but I think it's worth it! Because she is very beautiful and doesn't take much work, she costs approximately R$50 to R$300.
