However, I find quite difficutl adopting this approach at a primary school where there are 9 different areas and the time is limited. I consider the gruop of teachers in a school should work all together in the same direction and sometimes, it is really difficult to try to use new methods and approaches without the support of your peers. During the video I can see some high-school students working in large classes with all kind of equipment and space but, in my case, in a small class with 25 students between 8-9 years old I find it quite difficult.  
It will be hard for me to become a facilitator and letting children taking the control and at the same time, checking the whole group collabore equally.

You can see all my 3rd grade students celebrating Halloween. They are wearing the Frankenstein head made in our Art and craft classes and also, they are singing a song previously worked in our English classes ("Halloween night"). I think this photo a good example of collaboration because all the students worked and helped each other to get a fantastic show that day.

It was an incredible experience for all us. They did an excellent and effective work collaborating, supporting themselves and giving ideas every day to get a nice final work. Every year the public services of the town come to visit us and teach (or remember) our students some civic and useful habits. For example, the doctor teach our students about the healthy nutrition and the care of the teeth; the police refresh our students the civic rules, etc. 
Also, every year my school celebrates the Universal Children´s Day with a marathon. In my school, as in all the Autonomous Community, we use some internal tools to keep in touch with all the members of the school community (teachers, parents, students, etc) These tools are Delphos and Papas 2.0.

I took classes, I studied a lot but I failed my practical exam. I was frustated because I had practised many times how to park the car and I did it well. That day I was so nervous that I did it really wrong. As I was determined to get my driving licence and I knew I could do it better, I took more classes parking the car several times and when I did the practical exam again, I got my licence!

It is a good idea to hang different supporting posters ("never give up" or "In this class it is allowed to get wrong") or to establish different areas of the classroom for different purposes such as "the reading corner", "the creative corner" and "the Computer corner". In Spain we are used to assessing our students with a numerical grade every term. 
We should follow the evluable learning standards provided in our Spanish law even though they are a totally mess. 
 
Personally, I assess my students with the final test of each unit/project but also, with the behaviour, homework, classroom work, participation and organization. Furthermore, at the end of each unit/project I like checking my students´ knowledge with a quiz before the final test. At the end of the year I also provide my students a teacher assessment sheet to know what they consider I should improve.

These boards are made up with laminated papers and I provide them markers and erasers (sponges). When they have written/drawn the answer, they should raise their boards such as in a tv quiz. For example, after doing any written activity or listening, students should correct the answers of the person who is next to them. It is great seeing how they act as teachers and how they tell their mates the mistakes  they have done and how to correct them.
