So they asked for help, The U.S. and the U.K responded by sending airlifts to West Berlin loaded with supplies, Bombers with cargo capacity. The people in West Berlin would have starved to death if it weren't from the help it greatly impacted the people in West Berlin.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>After 3 long bloody years the Korean war finally came to an end.  3 million people died during the war, including 36,500 American soldiers who died and 100,000 were wounded. </p><p>Many things didn't change politically in Korea though, After the war there was an Armistice and along with that came a new boundary created near the original dividing line of the 38th parallel.  </p>]]></description>

Other Candidate Vice President Richard Nixon, He was riding off the coattails of Eisenhower's popularity. Kennedy ended up winning the Election gaining the trust of the American people, Kennedy showed the world how to be modern and impacted how things developed. </p>]]></description>

It was time to invade Cuba and it wasn't successful when the U.S got to Cuba, they took too long for the troops to get ammunition off the ships. Troops also landed in a swamp, Also Cuba still had planes left to attack the invaders. As a result Soviet Union and Cuba started getting closer and John F. Kennedy receives backlash for The Bay of Pigs. </p>]]></description>

This was a really huge threat to the United States and on Kennedy, They could get to American cities within minutes.</p>]]></description>

F Kennedy was pronounced dead, This shocked and scared all of America, Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson took the oath of office on the Air Force 1.</p>]]></description>
