What is one hobby you would love to get into?

• Leathersmithing. I want to craft handbags and wallets using the best quality components and give them as gifts to friends and family.

• When I was working as a shipping and receiving admin in the biology department, I had a coworker that taught me wing chun (Bruce Lee martial arts) and did 100 push ups together every now and then. He felt like an older brother to me.

• Travel and food influencer. I’ll be spending most of my time in Europe and Japan.

• I love watching my son play baseball. My family and I are also diehard NY Mets fans, so we know true hardship.

• My dad. He had a tough life, but he turned trials into opportunities. He remains the most positive, gentle, curious soul who loves books and finds humor in everything.

Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?

• I really miss flip phones. I felt like slamming them shut when you were making a statement or emotive was too powerful. I don’t feel that same power when turning off my phone with a button.

  
  

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

• I’d like the ability to time travel with no spatial consequences. Usually, the media depicts time travel as highly complicated and dangerous, I’d like the simpler version of that, there are a few days I could relive over and over again.

  
  

What is your favorite snack?

• I have a bad habit of perpetual snacking, meaning if it’s open, I eat it. That could include, but isn’t limited to: Mike & Ike’s (Tropical), Oreos, Goldfish, any baked good, cereal, etc. It’s a painful vice.
