The NYHFB’s current chair is Josh Neubauer who has a background in urban planning and has taken his talents to the distribution of food for the needy.

This food bank is currently the most prominent food bank in north york as it has over 25 years of experience.

This charity helps its community but its general clients are unemployed adults and families with low to no incomes.

The North York Harvest Food Bank has a diverse list of sponsors such as: Aurion Capital, Birch Hill, CIBC, UBS etc., which support the organization greatly.

The amount of partners associated with the organization (7) is quite astounding as they are all established companies and programs, this is evidence that the NYHFB is a great program, as if it were not they would no longer have the amount of partners as they currently do.

Almost 70% of this charities expenses are used for the food program, which is more than 2/3rds of their expenses, which is proof that they care greatly of the quality of their programs and food distribution.

For a fairly upscale neighbourhood like North York, 160,000 people being helped with their food needs is truly a sign that we do not know the situations of other people.
