I know that some of us are new to this school and class but I knew that we would all get along. Thank you for being the best physical and virtual (we can't see each other yet} friends I have. We may sometimes argue when it comes to different causes but I know that we would never wish for our friendship to end. As my Christmas wish for each one of you, I wish for you to all be safe, even in this new normal, for you to have hope and faith to finish this and as well to never argue between differences even if we have different opinions. This is my first year that I'm in Ateneo de Cebu, Thanks to my friends and all of my teachers, I am so happy and joyful. I have already good teachers and I have also good friends. I haven't actually seen my friends and teachers yet, but through online classes I have already found that my friends and my teachers are fun and kind. As the corona is resolved quickly, we all want to have fun classes at school, laugh and conversation. I want to thank you all so much for understanding me, either way I found some new friends to play with! Having new friends are good to have, even if they are foreign like our friends from China and Korea! You know the more friends, the more fun we will have. Though we have been through some harsh times, we always need a happy and merry christmas right? Guys i don't want to be sappy or anything but thank you guys so much for being there for me. thank you for being patient with me. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for me making me laugh... for making me feel better the times i feel sad your always there for me. Let me tell you all that you guys are the best. Sometimes i can be well..... Annoying to you guys and i hope i'm not that annoying because whenever i am you guys just don't mind at all and just accept me. When i have problems you guys cheer me up. When i have nobody to talk to during school times (which is very rare because i have 3 siblings here with me and lots of adults here too) you are there for me to talk to. You are the heartbeat of the Ateneo de Cebu community. You are the reason why we, your teachers, continue to strive to be better. You are our inspiration to continue moving forward.

The world may seem to have stopped a while, but your vibrance, energy and smarts remind us that all that we do is for a greater purpose : to form you into the Ignatian heroes you are meant to be.

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord, we remember that just like us, Jesus had his humble moments : being born in a manger, visited by shepherds with meager resources and surrounded by barn animals. Always remember that what we were born with does not determine who we are, it is what we do with what we have.

Personally, I only know some of you since we journeyed together last year, however, know that everyday, I am thankful that I have all of you in Grade 6 - Claver and the rest of the student body who trust completely and wholeheartedly in a community that I work with.

I hope that you continue to pray for your teachers, classmates, families, friends and community so that, together, we can surpass all the curve balls thrown at us.

Despite the uncertainties, always remember that there are so many blessings to be grateful for. I hope we take time to count each of them just as how we always do Math in our classes.
