We are taking Service Learning in Microbiology. The objective of this subject is to educate people about the microbes. For this time, we are doing awareness on Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) towards secondary school students from SBPI Gombak. This project are actually the combination of different subject that we are taking for this semester which are Pathogenic Microbe, Immunology and also Genetic Microbe subject. Regarding the awareness project, my group is discussing on Herpes virus. Actually, before going to the school, I am a  bit worried either the student will understand or not with our topic . Fortunately, the students are very curious and genius. They are showing their curiousity by asking the question that i'm not expected. I'm very happy and satisfied because  the objectives to educate the student was achieved. That is what I think. 

Besides, we also having another project which is special education project. For this project, we are collaborating with UIAM and USM student. We are UPM student are responsible to prepare the content of the modul while UIAM and USM student are responsible to fill up the modul with the content that had been prepared by us. My group for this project is to educate disabled kids about microbes that involve in shower. This project actually done virtually as we are from different universities. As usual, we are communicate by using OpenLearning platform. Unfortunately, we are not having chances to visit the school due to unplanned public holiday. However, Dr. Wan already informed that, we are going to the school next semester to finish up our project.
